DescriptionThis wonderful holiday park is located in the ski village of Val-Cenis, which is situated at an altitude of 1.500 meters. The park consists of 95 apartments spread among small buildings. In the park there is a building with an open fireplace, a reading corner, a television room, a game room with football and table tennis; a sports area where you can play tennis, volleyball or Jeu de Boules; a laundromat and a parking lot. There is also a small supermarket, bakery and restaurant here. Near the park there is a heated indoor pool (bathing cap mandatory!) with whirlpool and fitness room. The pool is free for guests of the resort. The pool is open in the summer from late June until mid/late August. For children (2 to 17 years old) there are various child/youth clubs. During school holidays, every day there are activities such as gymnastics, sports activities, videos, a local market and regular evening entertainment such as dance spectacle, dancing and a 'village festival'. For daily shopping, you will find a shop just 300 meters from the accommodation. Supermarkets are located 25 km away. The ski resort of La Vanoise is located 1.5 km from the village and is accessible by car or free shuttle bus. The ski resort covers an area of 80 km: ski slopes, 110 snow canons, 18 ski lifts, a snow park and 2 free-style routes. Here you will find 9 green slopes, 10 blue, 18 red and 6 black. For cross-country skiers there is an area with a total of 80 km of trails. This includes a magnificent tour around the lake of Mont Cenis. For a fee they also offer - 2 to 3 times - a snowshoe tour to explore the beautiful surroundings. During school holidays they provide a variety of entertainment for children of 6 months to 17 years old. The ski-school here has a snow garden for children between 3 and 4 years old and offers ski lessons for children from 5 to 12 years old. In addition, you can rent ski equipment (for a special price) and/or buy ski passes (passport photo mandatory). Near the park you will find a heated indoor pool and a skating rink, both freely available for guests of the park.

Local areaThis area will impress you with its beautiful nature and rich history. At an altitude of 2.083 meters you will find Val-Cenis Lake and the fascinating glaciers of the Vanoise, and at a little higher altitude (2.770 meters) the Col de l'Iseran. The rich history is evident in the magnificent villages, chapels and castles (even at an altitude of 2.800m). You can also go to Italy where you can visit the city of Turin and the Piedmont region. This region offers the possibility for various sports such as mountain climbing, mountain biking, hiking (meet marmots!), exploring glaciers or even horseback riding. After all these outdoor activities you can relax in the wonderful swimming pool with Jacuzzi. A shuttle runs to Lanslebourg. The big supermarkets are located 25 km away in the village of Modano. Each year there is an international dog sled race here which covers an area of 1.000 km in the Haute-Savoie, between France and Switzerland.
