DescriptionPlougasnou, on the edge of Morlaix Bay, is a small, family oriented seaside resort. It is a typical village of the Brittany region, with 17 km of rugged unspoilt coastline and a beautiful architectural heritage. It enjoys a wonderful location, at the foot of a sandy beach which is naturally protected from the sea breeze. The Residence, opposite the sea on a magnificent fine, sandy beach, is situated in the little hamlet known as Saint Samson en Plougasnou, 4.5 km from the nearest shops. This new leaseback residence consists of 56 apartments. The large picture windows and terraces of the apartments provide a spectacular view of the sheltered cove. Amenities of the residence include an indoor heated swimming pool and a fitness room, both facing the ocean, a laundry (use for a fee) and free outdoor parking (with a limited number of spaces). You will find additional parking in the public parking lot, about 50 meters away.

Local areaPlougasnou is a town in the Finistere department in Bretagne, in northwestern France. It lies 60 kilometers from Brest and 77 kilometers from St Brieuc. Places worth visiting include: Morlaix Bay: dotted with islets and rocky spurs jutting out of the water, it is an ever changing landscape as the perpetual flux of the sea constantly redraws the outline of this rugged coastline; Batz Island: one highlight of the island is the Garden of George-Delaselle, where thousands of Mediterranean and sub-tropical plants thrive in the warm climate; Chateau du Taureau at Carantec: a journey back to the heart of history; and the Thalasso therapy (sea water treatment) at Roscoff. Attractions of the town include: The port of Terenez (buy fish and seafood) and Footpaths (45 km from Plougasnou, toward Carantec) and a sailing school, diving school, riding possibilities and indoor tennis court make the sports offering complete. In the town there is also a large shopping center with a supermarket, gas station, bakery, bank and pharmacy. Additional businesses, a post office, health center and tourist office are near the church. Several nice restaurants offering French cuisine can be found in town or at the beaches.
