This former farm, dating back to the 16th century, has been restored with care and taste. It is situated near to the town of Brouage, a listed and protected site, whose citadel is visible for miles and has a magnificent view of the surrounding green countryside. This house is perfect for nature-lovers and offers a peaceful atmosphere in which to relax. At low-tide it is possible to walk the seawall to the Ile Madam. The islands of Oleron and the towns of Rochefort and La Rochelle are also between 10 and 40 kilometres away. The property owner lives in the house adjacent. The bedrooms are accessible by a steep set of stairs.
