DescriptionThis holiday park occupies a beautiful setting near the mountain village of Pralognan la Vanoise. Situated at the foot of the glaciers, at an altitude of 1418 meters, the park lies in the heart of the Vanoise National Park. The park is just 400 meters from the village center and ski lifts. 200 meters away you will find a variety of shops. Facilities of the holiday park include a reception desk, small indoor heated swimming pool (free), sauna (free), internet point (not free), laundry, parking garage (not free) and free outdoor parking. Guests of the park can enjoy free unlimited use of the Olympic pool (with water slide and children-s area) and Olympic ice skating rink. Bed linen is included in the price. Additional fees apply for a set of towels, baby kit, TV and final cleaning (please reserve at the time of booking). Pets are allowed (for an additional fee) provided they have a valid vaccination certificate. Dog such as pit bulls, etc. are not allowed.

Local areaThis ski resort ranges in altitude from 1410 to 2355 meters with the peak being Le Petit Mont Blanc (the small Mont Blanc) at a height of 2677 meters towering above Pralognan and Avals. In Pralognan you have free use of the ice skating rink and Olympic-size pool, but in the Olympic Hall you will also find a sauna, hammam, hot tubs, a bar, bowling alley, game room, climbing wall and curling. There is also a cinema in the village. Winter activities include dog sled rides, sledding, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoe treks. The ski area has 22 downhill ski runs, including 4 black, 7 red, 3 blue and green 8. You can access the area by 12 ski lifts and there are more than 70 snow cannons. For cross-country skiers, there is a network of 26 km of trails through the forest and across the plateau of Pralognan. This ski area is rated fourth in terms of the Savoy region. 9 km away lies the next great ski area, La Plagne, which is 225 km in total length. A bit further away (20 km) lies Courchevel, one of the largest ski resorts in the region. The distance from Utrecht is about 1100 km.
