DescriptionThis holiday village lies at an altitude of 550 meters, 1.5 km. from the village of Plaine. The resort consists of 60 apartments. Facilities include a reception area with tourist information, a corner fireplace, a reading area, game room with ping-pong and foosball tables, a TV room, a children play area for children over 3 years of age, a barbecue, a sports field for basketball, volleyball and badminton, an area for Jeu de boules, a tennis court, playground, a heated swimming pool with sunbathing area (open from mid June to mid September), a laundromat and a parking lot. Upon request you can reserve (free) a baby care kit (baby bed, bath, highchair). Also available: baby bag, bottle warmers, irons, games, electric grill, fondue set and a blender. For a fee you can order: a package of linen, cleaning or laundry service. These extra services are to be paid on the spot. The baker comes every week (year round) and from April to mid-September (during school holidays) you can get takeaway meals. Each week a hike is organized in the surrounding area and in the afternoon there are videos, a regional market, etc. Evening entertainment consists of such things as special performances, dances and much more. During the holidays there are a variety of children/youth clubs for ages 6 to 17. Shops are located at a distance of 1.5 and 3.5 km. The nearest ski resort for Alpine and cross-country skiing is 14 km away. This ski area is accessible by shuttle bus (for a fee; during school holidays and provided there are a sufficient number of passengers).

Local areaThis accommodation, situated in the middle of the Alsatian wine region with a view of the Vosges, is the perfect place from where you can explore the magnificent surroundings, for example, the famous wine routes. These lead past various sights along the way such as Chateau Haut-Koenigsboerg, Bergheim the city of sorcery, Hunawihr with its church, the archeological remains of Donon and much, much more. At the reception area you can also get information on the hiking and cycling routes in the area. The holiday village is located 60 km from Strasbourg. This city is known for its cathedral, but a visit to the French Quarter is also worthwhile. This is also true of cities like Colmar, Mulhouse, Schirmeck, etc. You also have the possibility to relax at the spa in Baden-Baden. Winter athletes come here for the Alpine ski slopes with 11 ski lifts, including a slope for beginners. The runway is located at an altitude of from 900 to 1.100 meters. Cross-country skiing consists of 100 km of wonderful trails. The village of Gerardmer is located 60 km away. A shuttle (for a fee; during school holidays and provided there are a sufficient number of passengers) brings you to the next ski area located 14 km away. This area is also famous for its Christmas markets held up to the 24th of December. The most famous is the "Christmas market" of Strasbourg, with wonderful wooden stalls, decorations, mulled wine, hot chocolate and much more. The distance from Utrecht is 590 km.
