Description

This small park with wooden bungalows is situated at a distance of 300 meters from the beach and sea. The park has a swimming pool which is open from the 1st of April to the 30th of October and, with the exception of July and August, is heated to a temperature of 22 degrees. There is also a childrens bath with a depth of 0.75 meters which is open the whole season. Other facilities of the park include: a launderette, a small supermarket (open the whole season), as well as a bar and restaurant (open from mid June to early September). Guests of the park can use an electric grill. Grilling with fire / charcoal is prohibited. At the supermarket of the park there is a Wi-Fi Internet connection. Less than 100 meters away you will find a restaurant, bar, supermarket, a pizzeria and bike rental. There are a multitude of possibilities for fun for the whole family on the beach, at the park and in the village.

Local area

Gruissan is a seaside resort with a typical and colorful Mediterranean presence. It is situated in the region of the Cathars. The old fishing village dates back to Roman times. It was built in a circular form around a small medieval castle. Modern Gruissan has a beautiful marina, white sandy beaches and offers a wide range of cultural and sporting activities. On Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings there is a lively market. In the surrounding forests and natural areas you can go on wonderful hikes or cycling tours. This area has extensive forests with fragrant pine trees and a rich flora and fauna. The long sandy beaches have soft, white sand, and you can spend hours in the sun building sand castles or swimming in the sea. A visit to the vineyards of the Massif de la Cape is also highly recommended. There are many different wines you can taste here in one of the many cellars. Horseback riding, windsurfing, sailing, fishing, discos, cinemas, an amusement park, castles or local festivities - enjoy a wonderful holiday as well as everything that the Languedoc has to offer!
