DescriptionDirectly on the golf course (9 and 18 holes) of Gujan Mestras lies the luxurious Residence Les Greens du Bassin” holiday park. This park has an outdoor pool (not heated, open mid-May to late September) and an internet point (not free). The apartments and houses are spacious, well-furnished and situated near the pool. The park, which was built in the typical style of the Landes region, has a rich vegetation. The golf course has a golf club which offers lessons (with discounts for guests of the Odalys Residence), electric golf carts, golf trolleys, equipment rental, a boutique, a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake of the golf course, and a TV room. The Residence is located just 5 km from the beach and marina on the Bay of Arcachon (a bay on the Atlantic coast). A TV and bed linen are included in the price. Final cleaning and a baby kit are available for an additional fee. These can be paid locally. Pets will be allowed (for an additional fee) provided they have a valid vaccination certificate and are mentioned at the time of reservation.

Local areaBesides golf, this area offers a wide range of attractions and activities. The natural surroundings are an Eldorado for bird and nature lovers. The environment includes the Bay of Arcachon; the dune of Pyla with a length of 2700 meters and an altitude of 105 meters; and a special bird park with bird huts. For boaters there is plenty to do such as sailing, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, water-skiing and jet-skiing. But horseback riding, biking, hiking, paragliding, tennis and fishing are also possible in the area. The city of Bordeaux lies approximately 55 km away but there are plenty of other towns and cities with their characteristic coastal ports that you can visit. There are also excursions for children, for example to Aqualand. This water park has an area of 8 hectares and contains all types of water rides and other attractions including a zoo, playground, small train, Kids Park and a playground for children from 2 to 12 years of age. Actually, this area offers unlimited opportunities for all ages. Add to this the kilometers of sandy beaches of Les Landes and your holiday is complete!
