Local areaThis area is well-known for its beaches but has plenty more to offer. Some activities on land include: tennis, golf, horseback riding, hiking, biking and ultralight flying. On or in the water there is also more than enough to do. For example, you can go scuba diving, fishing, windsurfing, water-skiing, kayaking, jet skiing, (catamaran) sailing, boating or para-sailing. In addition to all the sporting activities, there is plenty in the way of culture as well. Some examples include the village of Grimaud itself where there are the ruins of a castle, the Saint Michel church, Pont des Fees, Mill St Roch, the Chapel of the Penitents and Rue des Templiers. The area is also known for its pottery and wines. So there is more to this place than just swimming and sunbathing!
