DescriptionGonneville su Honfleur is a small village in the Calvados, situated 3 km from Honfleur, a town famous for its canals. It is a paradise for those who love beautiful colors. The little Norman village of Gonneville is proud of its Romanesque church and its most beautiful building which is the Castle of Prêtreville, built in the 18th and 19th centuries. Located in a wooded park, on both sides of the avenue leading to the Castle of Prêtreville, the residence blends into the heritage of Normandy with its brick facades and slate gray roof. It has 86 apartments split into eight buildings of R+1. Most apartments have a balcony or a garden-level. Except for the secure parking lots, which are located at the entrance to the park on both sides of the main entrance, the entire estate is pedestrianized. The reception desk and the entertainment room are located in the farmhouse (a renovated old stable) and an another recently renovated building houses the gym and sauna.

Honfleur, the city of art, with its well-preserved architectural heritage dating from the Middle Ages (streets, churches, gardens and its unique "Old Pond"), is a vibrant city with numerous festivals (of Jazz, of Laughter, of the Russian Cinema ... ). There are also guided city-tours whose themes are related to current events (Valentine's Day, Easter, Haloween, Christmas etc). Nearby there is Deauville and Trouville, resorts with a wide range of sporting and cultural activities (casino, aquarium, horse racing), and Le Pays d-Auge: Lisieux and Livarot, villages in a hedged farmland rich in beautiful homes, ideal for countryside holidays, tourism and hiking. Recreational activities at Honfleur: parachuting; golf at Deauville St Gatien; the Maisons Satie, home to an original scenic and musical route which pay tribute to the musician and composer Erik Satie who was born here in 1866; mini-golf; the Navy Museum; Equatorial Naturospace Museum; a little tourist train; a skateboard track and sea excursions. Nearby beaches: Butin Beach is located at the entrance to Honfleur (from the coastal road). Butin beach has all the facilities to accommodate you comfortably and safely during the summer: free parking nearby, showers, cabins, equipment rental and a playground for children. Analysis of the bathing water, which is regularly conducted by the health services, classifies this estuary beach as "excellent" and places it in category A. "Seahorse" chairs are available free of charge to people with mobility impairment. Vasouy Beach is located in the prolongation of the coastal road in the direction of Trouville and seduces those who are looking for a more remote site.
