DescriptionL'Hochette Resort is situated at an altitude of 1,650 meters, just a short distance from the picturesque Alpine village of Ceillac. The resort has 73 studios / apartments, located in different buildings. These buildings are connected by a gallery. The park has a reception area with tourist information, a bar, a restaurant, a reading room, television room, free WiFi area, foosball table, a garden where you can play, a barbecue, laundry and a parking lot. The restaurant offers the choice between a la-carte dishes, local dishes, takeaway meals and snacks. A free baby set (crib, baby bath and highchair) and games are available upon request. For a small fee you can also reserve a linen package, bath linen package, cleaning or the Comfort Plus Package. You must pay for these extra services on-site. Year round there is a baby club for children 3 months to 2 years of age and a mini-club for children ages 3 to 6. During school holidays, there is a club for children 7 to 10 years of age as well as for ages 11 to 14, and for youth (15 to 17) the resort offers a variety of entertainment programs. Every week there is a guided hike through the immediate surroundings and each afternoon you will find programs such as sports activities in the sport hall, videos, and a market. There are also evening programs such as performances, dances and a 'village festival'. Shops are 300 meters away. Pets are not allowed. The slopes are located 1.5 km away and are accessible by car or complimentary shuttle bus. Besides Alpine skiing you can also enjoy cross-country skiing in the immediate vicinity. Outside of the school holidays your children are accompanied to the ski area. In winter, at the foot of the slopes, there is a snow garden for ages 3+. You can participate in free evening snowshoe hikes where, on the way back, you can drink mulled claret. For children there is a 'find the animals tour'. From late December to mid-March the bed linen package is included in the price.

Local areaThis environment is very impressive, with its wonderful panoramic views of Mont Blanc, waterfalls such as those of Ceillac, and the Alpine summit with glaciers. You can tour this great area on foot or with a mountain bike. Other sports activities include: mountaineering, fishing, and a variety of water sports on the mountain rivers, as well as much, much more. The mountain lakes beckon you for a hike along signposted trails. If you are looking for a little culture, visit the churches of Ceillac or one of the chapels that exist in every village. Ceillac is not only famous for its churches, but also for its beautiful homes and magnificent sundials. The village of Saint-Veran, 37 km away, has been proclaimed one of 'the most beautiful villages in France'. In this area you will find many traditional village celebrations. The closest large city is Guillestre, 12 km away. The Parc Naturel Regional du Queyras ski area is known for its beautiful surroundings. You can enjoy skiing as well as cross-country skiing at an altitude of 1,650 to 2,500 meters. The slope for beginners is 100 meters away and the resort in the village is ideal for families. Other slopes are located 1.5 km away and are easy to reach by shuttle bus. The Alpine-ski resort has a total length of 25 km and includes 6 lifts and 4 green, 1 blue, 6 red and 1 black slope. The ski area has an area of 45 km and begins directly at the village.
