DescriptionThis resort is situated in the small village of Ars-en-Re, opposite the port, on the famous Ile de Re Peninsula, 40 km from La Rochelle. It is just 1 km from the beach. This area is ideal for those looking for a little peace and quiet. It is also great for cyclists (80 km of cycle paths), hikers, anglers and especially bird lovers. The resort consists of 40 ground-floor and 1st-floor apartments. Facilities include a reception area with tourist information, a reading area, TV room, table tennis, playground, laundry, barbecue and parking lot. There is also an area with free WiFi Internet access. Upon request you can borrow a baby package (crib, baby bath, highchair, pillow wraps and prams), games, balls, Jeu de Boule and an iron and ironing board. During school holidays there is a children club (6 to 10 years old) and a youth club (11 to 14 years old). Every week there are tours and excursions in the surroundings such as to the city, the port and the ramparts of Saint-Martin. There is also a reconnaissance trip by bike along the coast and salt production areas and a bird and a discovery tour. Evening entertainment consists of such things as a movie night, Crêpe Celebration (a kind of pancake), etc. Shops are located 500 meters away. It is advisable to bring a bicycle.
